- Aquarium Service Technician
Reefco Aquariums is looking to add a high energy individual with extreme attention to detail to our team. We provide service, installations, and design to clients in the central NJ area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Caring for commercial and residential aquariums
- Customer service
- Installation of aquariums
- Preforming water changes, designing aquascapes, and other service tasks
- Chemical testing
- Driving company vehicle
- Aquatic husbandry
- Identifying issues and providing solutions
- Assisting with in-house husbandry as needed
Requirements:
Preforming these tasks requires excellent time management, attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot, and exceptional communication skills. Experience with aquariums is required. A degree in a related field is preferred. The applicant must be reliable, have a strong passion for aquariums, the ability to problem solve and have a great attitude. Applicants should have basic understanding of water chemistry and be able to identify a wide range of fish and corals. A general knowledge of aquarium supplies and dry goods is a plus! The Service Technician must have a valid drivers license and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Our team consists of passionate aquarists who get to work with fish, coral, and invertebrates on a daily basis. Our headquarters is located in Green Brook, NJ where we have a state of the art showroom that houses thousands of different species of fish and coral.
